Kettlebell training can look very challenging. Fortunately the learning curve is short and most people pick up the basics quickly. RKC instructors view safety as an integral part of performance. We may train hard but we train safe. There are 6 core exercises and lifts at the heart of RKC Kettlebell training and these focus on total body training. The Swing is the foundation lift and once this is mastered we move on to the Clean, Press, the Squat, the Turkish Get up and finally the Snatch. At our workshops the lifts are taught in a progressive sequence that allows participants to quickly put together their own routines. Everyone (young, old, fit, not so fit) is capable of learning these moves. All these new found skills can be quickly perfected at regular park training sessions in the City. One of the first things people notice with regular training is a sense of connectedness throughout the body. Kettlebell training directly affects the central nervous system and, because we don’t train any part in isolation, the body regains a natural sense of muscular balance. With kettlebells you get your strength, cardio and mobility all in one. EXERCISE IMAGES TO FOLLOW |
